On the February 12, 2007 episode of NBC's DEAL OR NO DEAL, Howie Mandel and show contestant Donato DeMarinis of Island Park, New York, got a special visit by Bobby, Howie's animated four-year-old alter ego.

"We had a contestant, a guest on the show, who grew up watching Bobby and wanted me to do the Bobby voice," Mandel told syndicated columnists Marilyn Beck and Stacy Jenel Smith. One thing led to another, and "they animated Bobby (for the show)."
